This video features me setting up a brand new Pearl Export ELX from scratch – out of the box and completely dismantled to fully assembled and ready to play. I also go right back to basics, explaining parts of the drum kit, tuning (bass drums, toms and snare) and fine adjustments across the board so that the kit is in the right spot when you wanna get hitting. Since we’re setting up an Export, I also take note of some the features of the kit. There’s even a sneaky drum solo at the end 😉
